Neighborhoods are important. Strong neighborhoods contribute to the quality of life for everyone — clean streets, vibrant local businesses, walkable communities with nearby amenities and parkland, an environment that is free of crime and violence. 

Steps to build social infrastructure and strengthen neighborhoods are among the most important investments you can make in the health and well being of a community. They are often less visible than the roads that are paved or the facilities that are built, but they are essential to support strong, vibrant communities. 

The West End Revitalization is an initiative that will provide opportunities to improve the quality of life. Through this committee, we will identify issues within this neighborhood, as well as attempt to draw attention to it as a place to run a viable business with the support of the community.

Volunteerism is essential to support, collaborate, consult, facilitate and plan with community members and organizations. We are anxious to get started and are looking forward to the future regrowth of this wonderful neighborhood.
